A quick, healthy, and nostalgic snack featuring thinly sliced turkey, cheddar cheese, whole grain crackers, optional veggies, and honey mustard sauce. Perfect for on-the-go lunches or snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced turkey breast
  • 2 ounces cheddar cheese slices
  • 12 whole grain crackers
  • ½ cup baby carrots or cucumber slices (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons honey mustard or your favorite dipping sauce

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients: Lay out the turkey slices, cheese, crackers, optional veggies, and dipping sauce on the counter.
  2. Slice the cheese and turkey if needed: Cut the cheese into bite-sized squares or strips about 1.5 inches. Fold the turkey slices gently into quarters or roll them.
  3. Arrange the crackers: Place about 12 whole grain crackers in one compartment of your lunchbox or on a plate.
  4. Layer cheese and turkey: Place the folded turkey slices and cheese pieces next to the crackers, either alternating layers or separate.
  5. Add veggies and sauce: If using, add baby carrots or cucumber slices in a small compartment or section of the plate. Pour honey mustard or preferred dipping sauce into a small cup or drizzle lightly over the turkey slices.
  6. Pack and serve: Close your lunchbox or serve immediately. Keep refrigerated until ready to eat if packing ahead.

Notes

Use fresh deli turkey sliced thinly for tenderness. Choose sturdy crackers to avoid crumbling. Store sauce separately if packing ahead to keep crackers crisp. Let the lunchable sit 10 minutes at room temperature to soften cheese and enhance turkey flavor. For reheating, warm turkey and cheese briefly in microwave, do not heat crackers.
