A quick and easy summer grazing board featuring fresh berries, seasonal fruits, creamy honey-drizzled brie, nuts, and crackers. Perfect for gatherings and effortless entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces Brie cheese (small wheel, about 225 grams)
  • 2 tablespoons raw, local honey
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup seedless grapes, washed and halved if large
  • 1 large peach or nectarine, thinly sliced (or apricots in early summer)
  • 1 medium apple, thinly sliced (optional)
  • 1/4 cup toasted almonds or walnuts
  • 12 cups artisan crackers or baguette slices
  • A small handful of fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. About 15 minutes before assembling, take the brie out of the fridge to bring it to room temperature.
  2. Rinse all berries and seasonal fruits gently under cold water. Pat dry with a kitchen towel. Hull and halve the strawberries, slice peaches or nectarines thinly, halve grapes if large, and prepare apple slices. Toss apple slices in a little lemon juice to prevent browning if desired.
  3. Toast almonds or walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until fragrant and slightly golden. Stir often to avoid burning. Let cool.
  4. Slice baguette into thin rounds and optionally toast in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 5-7 minutes until just crisp. Alternatively, arrange your favorite crackers on the serving board.
  5. Place the brie wheel in the center of your board or platter. Spoon the honey over the top, letting it drip naturally down the sides.
  6. Distribute berries and seasonal fruits around the cheese in clusters, mixing colors and sizes for visual appeal.
  7. Scatter toasted nuts and tuck crackers or baguette slices around the edges.
  8. Tear fresh mint leaves and sprinkle lightly over the berries and cheese for garnish.
  9. Add any extra touches like additional berries or honey drizzle if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Let brie come to room temperature before serving for best flavor and texture. Toast nuts and bread lightly to enhance flavor and crunch. Drizzle honey last to keep a glossy finish. Prepare fruits just before assembly to avoid sogginess. For vegan option, substitute brie with plant-based cheese and honey with maple syrup. Use gluten-free crackers or apple slices for gluten-free diet.
