  • 1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • Sea salt, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine crushed pretzels, sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch tart pan.
  3. Bake crust for 10 minutes, then remove from oven and let cool.
  4. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream until just simmering.
  5. Pour hot cream over chopped chocolate and let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth to make ganache.
  6. Pour ganache over cooled pretzel crust.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce over ganache and sprinkle with sea salt.
  8. Refrigerate tart for at least 2 hours before serving.

Ensure the ganache is smooth before pouring over the crust. Refrigerate well to allow the tart to set properly.
