A vibrant, refreshing, and perfectly patriotic blue raspberry lemonade sangria that is quick to prepare and ideal for summer gatherings and Fourth of July parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750 ml / 25 fl oz) dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio recommended)
  • 4 cups (960 ml) classic lemonade (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) blue raspberry syrup (Torani brand recommended)
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blue raspberries
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves (a handful, optional garnish)
  • 2 cups (480 ml) sparkling water or club soda

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the strawberries, lemon, and lime. If using fresh blue raspberries, rinse them gently. (Time: 10 minutes)
  2. In a large pitcher, pour the entire bottle of dry white wine (750 ml / 25 fl oz). Add 4 cups (960 ml) of lemonade. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Add the sliced strawberries, lemon, lime, and blue raspberries to the pitcher. Stir carefully to mix the fruit with the liquid. (Time: 5 minutes)
  4. Pour in 1 cup (240 ml) of blue raspberry syrup. Stir gently to distribute the syrup evenly without breaking up the fruit.
  5. Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, ideally 4-6 hours, to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Just before serving, pour in 2 cups (480 ml) of sparkling water or club soda. Stir gently to combine and add a fresh fizz. (Time: 5 minutes)
  7. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and extra whole blue raspberries or strawberry slices. Serve over ice.

Notes

Use dry white wine to keep sweetness balanced. Fresh fruit is best but frozen works well. Chill sangria for at least 2 hours or overnight for best flavor. Stir gently after adding sparkling water to preserve bubbles. Add ice to glasses, not the pitcher, to avoid dilution. Adjust sweetness by adding more syrup or lemon juice as needed. For a non-alcoholic version, substitute white wine with white grape juice and increase sparkling water.
