This creamy, sweet, and crunchy dip is the perfect fall dessert. Made with cream cheese, caramel sauce, and toffee bits, it’s a quick and easy treat that’s perfect for cozy nights or holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce, store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits, divided
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)
  • Fresh apple slices for serving (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith recommended)
  • Optional garnishes: extra caramel drizzle, flaky sea salt, chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese: Take the cream cheese out of the fridge about 30 minutes before you start. Cut it into cubes to speed things up.
  2. Beat the cream cheese: Place the softened cream cheese in your mixing bowl. Beat it with a hand mixer on medium speed for about 2 minutes, until it’s completely smooth and fluffy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with your spatula halfway through.
  3. Add the brown sugar and vanilla: Sprinkle in the brown sugar and add the vanilla extract. Beat for another 30 seconds until everything is well combined.
  4. Fold in the caramel: Pour in about 1/3 cup of the caramel sauce (save the rest for drizzling on top). Use your spatula to fold it into the cream cheese mixture. Don’t overmix—you want some swirls of caramel visible throughout the dip.
  5. Add the toffee bits: Fold in about 1/4 cup of the toffee bits. Save the remaining 1/4 cup for topping.
  6. Season with salt: If you’re using the sea salt, sprinkle in a small pinch and fold it in.
  7. Transfer to serving dish: Spoon the dip into your serving dish and spread it out evenly. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce on top in a decorative pattern. Sprinkle the reserved toffee bits over the top. If you’re feeling fancy, add another tiny pinch of flaky sea salt on top.
  8. Chill for 15 minutes: Pop the dip in the fridge for about 15 minutes before serving.
  9. Slice the apples: While the dip chills, slice your apples. Cut them into wedges about 1/2 inch thick. If you’re not serving immediately, toss them with a little lemon juice to prevent browning.
  10. Serve and enjoy: Arrange the apple slices around the dip and serve immediately.

Notes

Let cream cheese soften to room temperature for best texture. Use a thick caramel sauce to avoid runny dip. Don’t overmix the caramel to keep swirls visible. The dip can be made a day ahead; add toppings just before serving. Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Not recommended for freezing.
